Doula Service

If you decide that having me as your doula is right for you then you'll get four ante natal visits where we talk about the birth you hope to have, childbirth preperation and the options that are available to you. I'll never try and push ideas on you that you're uncomfortable with but I'll give you the information you need to make choices that are right for you. Through these visits we build up a strong bond of trust.

We cover the physiology of birth in a way that helps you understand how your body works in labour and the role that hormones play in labour, birth and bonding and what you can do to assist them.

I'll be on call for you two weeks before your due date and when you go into labour I'll be there until your baby is born and you are both settled.

Doula's don't have shift changes, so you will have continuity of care throughout your labour.

I like to do two post natal visits to make sure that you are all doing ok and that your transition into parenthood is as smooth as possible.

Being a doula is an incredibly privileged role and I've been fortunate to be present at some truly amazing births, both at home and in hospital.
